Rationale
Enhancing Psychological Health: Positive development in the cognitive, emotional, social, and moral domains satisfies the individuals and enables them to actualize their potential.
Integrating the Forest (Nature): Forest is “for rest” in nature. Through connection with nature, we can restore attention, manage stress, and enhance self-reflection.
Psycho.forest.workshop combines evidence-based psychotherapy with nature-based therapy to make life blossom.
Therapeutic orientation
Dr. Yeung specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy for adolescents and adults. She integrates nature-based therapy in clinical work when it may benefit her clients. From her own experiences in conducting nature-based therapy and related research work, she trusts the power of nature to restore attention, induce relaxation, and facilitate insight to counteract the maladaptive thoughts that underly many emotional and behavioral issues. When it is deemed beneficial to the client, she employs hypnotherapy to address personal dilemmas that exist at the unconscious level.
